Introduction

Welcome to VGP Medical Career Institute. This handbook provides essential information

about our policies, procedures, and guidelines to help you succeed in your academic

journey. Please read it carefully and refer to it whenever you have questions.

Policies

Our institute is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for

all students. The following policies are in place to ensure that everyone can learn and grow

in a supportive atmosphere:

1. Code of Conduct: Students are expected to behave in a manner that reflects the values of

integrity, respect, and responsibility. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or academic

dishonesty will not be tolerated.

2. Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for academic success. Students are required to

attend all classes and notify the administration in case of any absences.

3. Grading: Grades are awarded based on performance in assignments, exams, and

practicals. The grading scale is as follows: A (90-100), B (80-89), C (70-79), D (60-69), F

(below 60).

4. Refund Policy: In accordance with GNPEC guidelines, students who withdraw from the

institute may be eligible for a refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the

date of withdrawal and the percentage of the course completed.

5. Grievance Procedures: Students who have concerns or complaints are encouraged to

follow the grievance procedures outlined in this handbook.

 

Grievance Procedures

If you have a concern or complaint, please follow these steps to ensure it is addressed

promptly and fairly:

1. Informal Resolution: Discuss the issue with the person involved to seek an informal

resolution.

2. Formal Complaint: If the issue is not resolved informally, submit a written complaint to

the administration. Include details of the grievance and any supporting documentation.

3. Investigation: The administration will investigate the complaint and may request

additional information or meetings with the parties involved.

4. Resolution: The administration will provide a written response outlining the findings

and any actions to be taken.

5. Appeal: If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may appeal the decision to the

higher authorities within the institute.

 

Grading

Grades are awarded based on your performance in assignments, exams, and practicals. The

grading scale is as follows:

A (90-100): Excellent performance demonstrating a thorough understanding of the subject

matter.

B (80-89): Good performance with a strong understanding of the subject matter.

C (70-79): Satisfactory performance meeting the basic requirements of the course.

D (60-69): Marginal performance indicating a need for improvement.

F (below 60): Unsatisfactory performance not meeting the minimum requirements of the

course.

 

Attendance

Regular attendance is crucial for academic success. Students are required to attend all

classes and notify the administration in case of any absences. Excessive absences may result

in disciplinary action or impact your grades.

 

Refund Policy

In accordance with GNPEC guidelines, students who withdraw from the institute may be

eligible for a refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the date of withdrawal

and the percentage of the course completed. Please refer to the following schedule for

refund eligibility:

1. Withdrawal within the first week: 100% refund of tuition fees.

2. Withdrawal within the second week: 75% refund of tuition fees.

3. Withdrawal within the third week: 50% refund of tuition fees.

4. Withdrawal after the third week: No refund of tuition fees.
